Delegating work is important if you are working in a team or leading a team. Not only will it help you do your job quicker, it will also help you build relationships with your colleague and help you achieve a work-life balance.

In order to delegate effectively, it is important for you to first and foremost ask your colleagues if they are willing to take the tasks. If your colleague is already burdened with assignments, don’t contribute to their stress. Once you figure that out, delegate the job based on the skills and knowledge that they possess.
